During lockdown, we spent time watching garden birds and joined in a live lesson all about garden birds. Acorn class went outside and made bird pictures using natural objects.
Habitat Heaps - Bronze level
We made a stone pile for creatures to hide in. We can't disturb it.

We sowed a mini-meadow wild flower bed for the bees!

We explored the school grounds collecting leaves and twigs to identify what's growing. It was tricky!
Big Schools' Birdwatch - Bronze Level
In February, we completed our birdwatch survey from the school grounds. We saw Starlings the most, and Great Tits the least. This shows our results. We loved using our new binoculars!
Bioblitz - Bronze Level
We used the identification sheets to record all the different forms of wildlife we could find in the Wild Wood.
